However, if a client wants additional customization such as charms, connectors, or layered pieces, the appointment may take a little longer. I usually reserve 10–15 minutes per booking unless I’m aware ahead of time that there will be more detailed customization, in which case extra time is allotted.

Yes. It’s completely okay to shower and swim with permanent jewelry. I do recommend limiting excessive chemical exposure, such as hot tubs, pools with strong chlorine, perfumes, and harsh products, to help maintain the best long-lasting results. I use high-quality 14k gold-filled and sterling silver chains that hold up very well and are tarnish-resistant with normal wear. It’s also important to know that 14k gold-filled jewelry has a core base metal (typically brass) with a thick layer of solid 14k gold bonded on top. Over time and with regular wear, the shiny gold surface may gradually mellow into a softer, antique-style gold tone, which is normal for gold-filled materials. I personally shower daily and live my normal routine, and my own permanent pieces have lasted over two years with no issues.

No, permanent jewelry does not hurt. With the proper training I’ve taken and the safety steps I follow, the process is completely painless. The welding tool never touches your skin. I use a leather patch to protect your skin from the spark, and I always make sure the area is clean and prepared before welding to keep everything safe and comfortable.

Yes. You can remove permanent jewelry at any time using scissors or small wire cutters. Some clients remove their piece for medical procedures, imaging appointments, or personal preference. If you ever need it re-welded afterward, I offer lifetime complimentary re-welds for all clients who originally welded their jewelry with me, as long as you still have your chain and your proof of purchase. Your receipt is automatically emailed to you after your service and serves as your proof of purchase.

Yes. I offer clasp-style custom-fit jewelry for clients who may not be ready to commit to permanent jewelry or who have upcoming medical procedures that require jewelry removal. A clasp option is a great flexible alternative, while still giving you a personalized piece.

I only weld on children ages 13 and older with parental consent. For ages 5 through 12, I offer clasp-style jewelry instead, since it provides more flexibility and is safer for younger kids. I do not weld or provide clasp jewelry for children under age 5.

Yes. I offer custom clasp-style jewelry for clients who live out of state or can’t come in for an in-person welding appointment. You can message me your design ideas, preferred chain style, and any customizations you’d like. We’ll go over options together and review pricing. Pricing for custom clasp pieces is slightly higher than permanent jewelry because these pieces require more time, hand-assembly, and preparation before shipping.

Absolutely. I offer private booking options for bridal parties, bachelorette groups, birthdays, girls’ nights, and corporate events. Group pricing and travel options are available upon request.

All clients who welded their jewelry with me receive lifetime complimentary rewelds as long as they still have their chain and proof of purchase. Proof of purchase is the emailed receipt provided immediately after your appointment. If the jewelry was originally applied by another artist, a foreign re-weld fee applies.
